2013 Sponsorship & Advertiser Programs

The La Pine Rodeo Association is pleased to announce our 11th Annual Rodeo for 2013 will be held over three days during the 4th of July Holiday. Sanctioned by Northwest Professional Rodeo Association the "Greatest Little Rodeo in Oregon" will continue to provide the community with action packed & family friendly entertainment.

La Pine RodeoThe exciting news in 2012 was the passing of the La Pine Land Conveyance Act for permanent Rodeo Grounds on 150 acres. This will boost tourism by developing permanent rodeo grounds along with future development of parks and recreational facilities. It has taken many years to achieve this, with the leadership of former Rodeo Board Member and now Deschutes County Commissioner Tony DeBone, the dream is a reality. His untiring efforts are greatly appreciated along with bringing into the fold U.S. Senator Ron Wyden and U.S. Representative Greg Walden. They felt our passion and it became their passion to make this a reality to boost the economy for the community of La Pine and South Deschutes County. We will not be on the new grounds for a few years but we've got it in our hands now, the future is very bright!

Continuing on with the excitement for 2013 a new event has been added. On Thursday, July 4th the "Buck & Boom", a bull riding only event with lots of energy and excitement. Followed by a dance for the entire family held in the rodeo arena. Topped off with 4th of July Fireworks you can watch from the rodeo grandstands.

There is also a qualifying competition called "Slack", this is available to rodeo fans without charge. Thus, sponsors of the rodeo are able to reach a larger audience over three days.

Maintaining a fine reputation is important to us and draws return fans, spectators and vacationers from all over the Pacific Northwest and beyond.

Improvements made in 2012 included the addition of a new VIP grandstand and a new announcers stand! As a non-profit organization the support from our sponsors made these improvements possible.

Sponsors make our rodeo a success! We continually look for opportunities to mutually benefit our sponsors and the rodeo. As a "TEAM" we both achieve more and reach a larger group of consumers.

Check our calendar to see the many events planned for our 2013 Rodeo!

The western heritage is alive and well in La Pine!
