La Pine Rodeo Association Announces its 2012 Rodeo!

The La Pine Rodeo Association is pleased to announce that the 10th Annual Northwest Pro Rodeo Association Sanctioned Rodeo in La Pine will be held the weekend prior to July 4th on Saturday, June 30 to Sunday, July 1, 2012.

La Pine Rodeo Association The “Greatest Little Rodeo” in Central Oregon will continue to provide the community with family friendly entertainment attracting cowboys & cowgirls from all over the Pacific Northwest and spectators from all over the world.

Our 2011 Rodeo brought many contestants to beautiful La Pine and we are expecting even more to enter this year’s events. The rodeo will be joined by several other events, such as the La Pine Quilt Show and La Pine Frontier Days at the Midway, all taking place on the same weekend. This means more visitors to our area and the time to think about getting your tickets for the day of your choice is soon.

We’re very proud to again have Hall of Fame Announcer Kedo Olsen (a GREAT crowd pleaser), the Rim Rock Riders Drill Team and cowboys and cowgirls from all the Western States, Canada and other areas of the nation. Lazy HK Bar Rodeo Company are our rodeo contractors.

Directions to the La Pine Rodeo Grounds: Go south on Hwy 97, turn right onto 3rd Street heading west. Stay on 3rd Street until it deadends at Walker. Arena grounds on right-hand side. There will also be directional signs in town.
